Lens information

Designed for Sensitive Eyes and Sunny Skies

The lenses are coated with an anti-reflective(AR green) coating on the inside of the lens which offers the below benefits to the wearer.

Reduced Glare and Reflections:

The primary benefit of an AR coating is its ability to decrease glare and reflections, especially those from surfaces like water or glass.

Improved Vision Clarity:

By enhancing light transmission and reducing reflections, AR coating improve the clarity of vision, making it easier to see, especially in low-light conditions.

 Eye Comfort and Reduced Fatigue:

The reduction of glare and reflections can also help to reduce eye strain and fatigue, making them a good choice for long-term wearers of glasses.

Natural Color Perception:

The AR coating we used enhances natural color perception, as it blocks a portion of the blue and yellow ends of the spectrum.

Reduced Eye Strain:

The reduction of glare and reflections helps reduce eye strain and fatigue, making them a good choice for extended wear.

The lenses have UV400 coating to keep your eyes safe from the sun:

What is UV400 Coating?

UV400 is a type of lens treatment used in sunglasses that blocks ultraviolet (UV) radiation with wavelengths up to 400 nanometers. This includes:

  • UVA rays (315–400 nm)

  • UVB rays (280–315 nm)

  • UVC rays (100–280 nm) – although most UVC is filtered by the Earth's atmosphere

So, UV400 protection blocks 99.9%–100% of harmful UV rays, making it the gold standard for eye safety.
